Aziz Badraoui, president of Raja Casablanca has just concluded a new deal with an Algerian international. It is Raouf Benguit, the former player of Esperance of Tunisia. The signing comes as a relief to the fans who have been asking for the midfielder to join the club.
The announcement of the new recruit of the Casablanca Eagles was made by the president himself on his Instagram account. Aziz Badraoui has thus recruited more than 11 players so far during the summer mercato, keeping his promise to strengthen the squad for the next season.
The 26-year-old Benguit is Raja’s third Algerian recruit after Yousri Bouzok and Mehdi Boukassi, who signed on Sunday, were released from their contract with Mouloudia, which runs until 2024. However, the Casablanca club did not specify the duration of the contract that now binds the two parties.
The former Usmist is preparing to live his second experience abroad as he played at ES Tunis from 2019 to 2021, before terminating his contract with the Sang et Or.
