The player on loan from Paradou AC has scored 35 goals in 69 games in the Algerian league
Pau FC has had a successful start to the season and intends to continue on this path. It is in this sense that the leaders of Pau have enlisted an additional reinforcement in the last hours of the summer market by obtaining the loan of Algerian striker Zakaria Naidji.
The 26-year-old international (1 cap), who belongs to Paradou AC (Algerian championship), was already on loan last season to Club Africain de Tunis, then to USM Alger.
35 goals in 69 games
A prolific scorer in the Algerian Ligue 1 with 35 goals in 69 games, Naidji could be a welcome addition to a Palaiseau attack that sometimes lacks goals. After a spell at Gil Vicente in Portugal during the 2019-2020 season, this centre-forward, who can also play on the right, will therefore have his second European experience and will wear the number 24.
Friendly match
However, Zakaria Naidji will not take advantage of this international break to play for Pau FC for the first time. Indeed, Didier Tholot has scheduled a friendly match this Friday morning at 11am, at the Maurice-Trélut Stadium in Tarbes, against the Ligue 2 leader, Toulouse FC.
