In only his second start in Ligue 1 this season, Algerian international midfielder Hicham Boudaoui scored his first-ever goal on Ligue 1 fields.
The former Paradou academician, who started the match against Toulouse on Saturday 21 December 2019 as a right-winger (he is better in the centre, let’s hope he doesn’t follow the same path as Zohi…), managed to beat goalkeeper Reynet with a beautiful header at the far post, after his team-mate Lees-Melou’s cross, to score the goal 2-0.
The Algerian celebrated his goal with his coach Patrick Vieira, who decided to give him the chance to play his second game as a first-team regular this season in Ligue 1. Less Melou will add a goal in the 40th just before the halftime.
Boudaoui is replaced at the 68th, final score 3-0 for Nice.
