After selling Aurelien Tchouameni to Real Madrid for €100 million including bonuses, AS Monaco have made up for his departure with the signing of midfielder Mohamed Camara from Red Bull Salzburg for a handsome €15m. The Malian international with 15 caps (3 goals) spoke for the first time in his new colours and did not hide his joy and determination for the coming season.
“I am very happy to join a great club like AS Monaco. After my training at the JMG Academy in Mali, I had the opportunity to live very nice seasons with Red Bull Salzburg, where I got used to playing and where I could live a wonderful first experience in Europe. I am now fully focused on this new stage of my career and I am looking forward, together with all my new teammates, to the many challenges that will punctuate our season,” he said.
The academician has tied his future to the club until 2027. A three-time Austrian champion with Red Bull Salzburg, the Malian international (15 caps, 3 goals) arrives with a wealth of experience.
