Ghana’s football coach Milovan Rajevac has reduced his list from 30 to 28 players, the maximum allowed, for the CAN in Cameroon. Ghana’s academy midfielder Salis Abdul Samed (Clermont) and 18-year-old striker Felix Afena Gyan (AS Roma) have been dropped. Injured Ajax Amsterdam midfielder Mohammed Kudus remains on the list, which also includes, not surprisingly, Andre and Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey and Alexander Djiku. They will face Morocco, Gabon and Comoros in Group C.
To have been selected in the first list is already a victory for your young academician.
