After the diagnostic tests, following his injury on November 28, 2021 during the match Como-Parma. The injury is serious. the note is official: tendon rupture for the external player.
No comforting news for Como in the injury department. If on the one hand there is a classification that reflects the established goal, on the other there is the alarm ringing for Moutir Chajia.
The Belgian from the class of ’98 has suffered a terrible injury to the tendon in his right knee. As the Lombardy club itself says, after tests, the tendon was found to be ruptured. Here is the note published by the team coached by Giacomo Gattuso: “Moutir Chajia underwent diagnostic tests yesterday at the San Martino clinic in Malgrate which revealed the rupture of the patellar tendon in his right knee. The player will undergo surgery in the next few days after further clinical tests”.
This news upsets the cards in Como. The attacking outfielder of the blue-and-white team was indeed a valuable element in coach Gattuso’s tactical set-up. He played 14 games out of the 14 available to him, including 11 from the start. Always without a goal, his contribution so far has been fundamental in terms of decisive passes: 4 decisive balls delivered to his teammates, passes that have always brought important points.
Gattuso is now losing one of his winning weapons, whose return to the field will most likely be around spring 2022. More information on this will be released in the next few days, once the player has undergone surgery.
Moutir Chajia underwent patellar tendon surgery on 8 November 2021. The operation, performed in Belgium by Professor Declercq, was a complete success.
We wish Moutir a good recovery.
