The former Vietnamese and Thai academics met again for a moment in Dubai, where the qualifications for the World Cup 2022 of the group G of the Asia zone were held.
During the 8th match (15/06/21), both teams unfortunately lost.
Thailand logically leaves the adventure.
On the other hand, Vietnam, in the same group, which finished best second behind the United Arab Emirates, makes a historic advance in the Asian final 12. Thus, Vietnam remains in contention for a first participation of the country in the World Cup.
The Thais TAE and TAR congratulated and wished PHUONG, TRUONG, ANHINO and VAN TAN good luck for the rest of the qualifications.
A beautiful image which testifies to the affection which was created between the academicians of 2 countries showing however an eternal rivalry. Indeed, while they were training from 12 to 19 years old in the JMG Academy in Thailand and Vietnam respectively, they met several times via exchange courses between the two academies. They also had the opportunity to visit the JMG Academy in Belgium and Egypt.
