Anderlecht and Club Brugge are looking to strengthen their squad for next season and are reportedly both looking for the Belgian-Moroccan midfielder Ilias Chair, who plays for Queens Park Rangers.
Indeed, the two Belgian league leaders are still looking for an attacking reinforcement for next season, and they are turning to the academician Ilias Chair for that.
Ilias Chair is from Antwerp and currently plays for Queens Park Rangers. The 23-year-old Moroccan-born midfielder is doing well and has hardly missed a game this season.
Ilias Chair has been in the sights of FC Brugge since the winter transfer window, but finally chose Chong. Now they have competition from Anderlecht, who are looking for a possible replacement for Yari Verschaeren, who is rumoured to be leaving.
Anderlecht and Brugge have to beware of competition from Bologna, Genoa and some German and English clubs.
Ilias Chair was born in Antwerp, trained at the JMG Academy in Lierse and made his debut for Lierse SK, where the English club picked him up in 2017. This season he has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 45 Championship games.
