Othman Boussaid, a young Belgian of Moroccan origin, has extended his contract at FC Utrecht after his excellent season.
FC Utrecht have announced the extension of Othman Boussaid’s contract. The 21-year-old Belgian-Moroccan has signed a new deal until June 2024. Indeed, the player’s contract expires next June. And given his regularity and performance in recent weeks, the directors have seen fit to extend his contract by two years. He has played 29 games for FC Utrecht this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists in all competitions, and has been rewarded for his fine season.
“The club has a lot of confidence in me. I had to take this opportunity and I did. Belgian clubs were interested, but I can make the most of myself here in the Netherlands. The way we play now really suits me. That’s why I want to stay longer at FC Utrecht,” Boussaid said.
