National team left-back Ramy Bensebaini will soon be back. The former Stade Rennais player, who has suffered a muscle strain, could well be in the derby against FC Cologne, says his coach Marco Rose. The latter clearly expressed his satisfaction at yesterday’s press conference that the derby has been cancelled in order to recuperate important elements including Bensebaini : “At first I was disappointed by the announcement that the match had been postponed but now it’s good for us, especially as we’re expecting Bensebaini to train next week,” said Rose. That means Ramy will miss the Dusseldorf game this weekend and should be up and running for the Cologne derby, provided he’s in form. That’s good news for national coach Djamel Belmadi, who will also be able to count on a more or less competitive player ahead of the upcoming Green Party matches.
