Turkish Super Lig side Istanbul Basaksehir have signed Karim Hafez on loan from Egyptian outfit Wadi Degla with an option to make the deal permanent.
The left-back spent the last two seasons on loan with French Ligue 2 side Lens and made 46 appearances across all competitions before his departure.
On Wednesday, Basaksehir announced the capture of the youngster after concluding negotiations with him and Wadi Degla.
“After our negotiations with Karim Hafez and his club Wadi Degla, the Egyptian footballer was leased for one year with the purchase option,” read a statement from club website.
